Welcome to SmartCV, operated by Dragonfinity Systems ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website at smartcv.dragonfinitysystems.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using SmartCV, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

SmartCV provides AI-powered tools to help job seekers build, improve, and download professional career documents. Our services include:

• CV building and PDF generation
• AI-assisted CV optimization and rewriting
• Cover letter generation
• Job application email drafting
• Interview and application answer generation
• Free CV rating/scoring

3. Account Registration

We use a passwordless login system via one-time codes (OTP) sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. You may not use another person's account or email address without authorization.

4. Payments

Certain features require payment, processed securely via Selcom. All prices are listed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Payments are non-refundable once a service has been successfully delivered or unlocked. If a technical failure prevents delivery, please contact us for assistance and resolution.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your CV or application content
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, payment checks, or security controls
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive purposes
• Reproduce or resell the Service's outputs for commercial redistribution without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content you create on SmartCV, including your CV data, cover letters, emails, and related documents, remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to deliver the Service. Our platform code, design, prompts, workflows, and branding remain our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

Parts of your CV, cover letters, emails, or interview answers may be drafted, rewritten, or improved by AI. While we aim for useful and professional results, AI-generated output may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before using it.

8. Data Retention

Your saved CVs and generated documents may be retained while your account remains active so you can continue accessing and improving them. We may remove inactive or unnecessary data from time to time for security, maintenance, or storage management purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartCV and Dragonfinity Systems are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to inaccurate AI output, payment interruptions, delayed delivery, or lost opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service, without prior notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate courts of Tanzania, unless otherwise resolved by mutual agreement.
